Our first sponsored child: Cacilda from Mosambique
Cacilda Hilario Daniel
Cacilda Hilario lives with her family in a social project in Saua Saua. She was born on 22 November, 2000 and has two brothers and three sisters. She loves to play hopscotch and to help with household chores like gathering firewood. Her favorite color is black and her favorite animal is the goat. She loves eating papaya. Currently Cacilda is in the second grade at the Lumbo Primary School. Because of her family's poverty, Cacilda was a year behind; but after her sponsorship she is now able to attend school, where her favorite subject is math. She is healthy and receives regular medical care.
The limited income of families is often not even sufficient enough to supply basic needs. With our sponsorship we are able to provide for Cacilda's nutrition, proper medical care, general care and education. Because of her sponsorship, Cacilda's life and community are changing for the better.
Help where the need is the greatest – our sponsorship through World Vision for 7-year old Cacilda from Mosambique.
We are supporting Cacilda on her way to a better future: providing for her nutrition, medical care, safety, and education - acting on behalf of all the children of Africa who have only one wish:
"... that I might grow up."
Our Second Sponsored Child: Tsendjav from Mongolia
Tsendjav Nansalmaa
Tsendjav lives with her mother in a social project called "Bayankhoshuu". She was born on 8 October, 2001and has three siblings. She loves to play with building blocks and to help in the house by washing dishes. Tsendjav is physically handicapped, so she has additional special needs.
The limited income of families is often not even sufficient enough to supply basic needs. With our sponsorship we are able to provide for Tsendjav's nutrition, proper medical care, general care and education. Because of her sponsorship, Tsendjav's life and community are changing for the better because the relief efforts help to improve not only her conditions, but also the overall living conditions of all people in her project.
Our Third Sponsored Child: Clovis from Burundi
Clovis Ndikumagenge
Clovis lives with his parents in Burundi in a social project called "Cankuzo". He was born on 17 July, 2007 and has four siblings. Soccer is Clovis' favorite game. Because he is too young, he cannot yet help his family.
Since Cankuzo is one of the poorest regions in Burundi; not even basic nourishment can be guaranteed. Most families live on local agriculture, however because of frequent draughts and floods, food is often scarce. We are committed to helping Clovis and to offering him a better future.
